The Crills 2009
OK people, The Crills have a lot in store for 2009.  We've been working our asses off so the beginning of the year will be rockin' for both you and us.
We've been adding stuff to the repertoire every week, most recently California Uber Alles by Dead Kennedys, Borstal Breakout by Sham 69, and Punk Rock Girl by the Dead Milkmen.

Finally, we wanna thank every single person that has come out to at least one show over the last two years, that's what keeps this going.
See ya soon,
The Crills

Choke EP/ Remix Album/ Live 16 Volt, The Crills shows/ Free music.

---------------------------------------------------------------
The 64K/ SMP collaboration, "Choke" is now available. 64K deviates from the norm to explore the depths of politics and science fiction with SMP frontman Jason Bazinet. The Choke EP features six original songs ranging from dark conspiracy themes to far off futuristic concepts. However, the dark industrial wizardry of 64K remains in-tact, sometimes even stepping outside of it's own genre. The majority of Choke was mixed by Wade Alin (Christ Anlogue, Atomica). At this time "Choke" is a digital-only release.

SMP remix album, "Pissing on the Legacy" is now available.

The album-- which contains remixes by Albatrosse, Bloodwire, Digital Geist, Databind, Diskonnekted, Hardwire, Penal Colony, Spinefolder, and Stochastic Theory -- is comprised of remixed versions of most of the tracks from SMP’s fifth studio album, “The Treatment.”  It is graced by the musicianship of Wade Alin of Christ Analogue, Mike Welch of Slave Unit, Chris Roy of Doll Factory, and Dee Madden of Penal Colony.

SMP remix album out now.

SMP (aka Sounds of Mass Production) has released “Pissing on the Legacy,” a digital-only remix album.  The album-- which contains remixes by Albatrosse, Bloodwire, Digital Geist, Databind, Diskonnekted, Hardwire, Penal Colony, Spinefolder, and Stochastic Theory -- is available for purchase now at http://cdbaby.com/cd/smp6

“Pissing on the Legacy,” which is SMP’s second remix album (the first being the 2001 release, “Hacked”) will be available through all legitimate digital download sites in the near future.

“Pissing on the Legacy” is comprised of remixed versions of most of the tracks from SMP’s fifth studio album, “The Treatment.”  It is graced by the musicianship of Wade Alin of Christ Analogue, Mike Welch of Slave Unit, Chris Roy of Doll Factory, and Dee Madden of Penal Colony.

SMP is still on hiatus, having performed its last concert more than six months ago in Seattle, WA., at the El Corazon.  There are no plans for future releases.
